Scorpions -
Scorpions are creepy crawly nocturnal arachnids. Arachnids are the family of Spiders, Ticks, and Scorpions. All Arachnids are similar in one way, they all have 8 legs.
Scorpions have an armored body and claws to grasp prey with in the front of their body's. And at their back they have a long stinger that can arch over their body to sting their foes. An interesting fact about their stingers, is that the section containing the stinger can actually rotate 360 degrees around.
Scorpions eat just about any insect from Crickets, Cockroaches, Silverfish, Earwigs, Spiders, and even other Scorpions. Some Scorpions will even catch flys.
Scorpions have 6-12 eyes but are still nearly blind. They use little hairs on the bottom of their body to sense ongoing things around them. Spiders can climb on glass but Scorpions cannot. Another difference between a Spider and a Scorpion, Spiders are territorial, and Scorpions are hunters. Wondering why you can never see them outside during the day but can see them in your home at night? Well it's because during the day they hide under rocks, logs, and pieces of bark. At night they come out to hunt and that's how they find their way into your homes.
